Rajasthani style Dahi Vada recipe | how to make dahi Vada | dahi Bhalla | दही वड़ा रेसिपी
Lip smacking dahi vada is the recipe which is popular in every region of India.
To make your summer days special here I'm sharing dahi bhalla , dahi vada or dahi bada in Rajasthani style.
This is the fixed recipe I used to make specially on Holi.
Deep fried lentil balls soaked in thick Yogurt or dahi, topped with chutneys and garnished with colorful ingredients makes it more special.
Perfect dahi vadas should be soft and spongy so they can soak yogurt and tangy chutneys and melt in mouth.

1. Soak urad Dal overnight
2. Add very little water and Grind to smooth batter.
3. Add salt
4. Beat the batter for 6-7 min
9. Now add these vadas to the whisked yogurt or you can take vadas directly on plate and pour yogurt over vadas.

- Urad daal 250 gm
- Fresh creamy yogurt 2.5 cup
- Salt as required
- Oil for deep fry
- Red chili powder
- Roasted cumin seeds
- Black salt/regular salt
- Tamarind or imli chutney
- Garnish with coriander,sev etc.
DIRECTIONS:-
1. Soak urad Dal overnight
2. Add very little water and Grind to smooth batter.
3. Add salt
4. Beat the batter for 6-7 min
6. Now with help of fingers or teaspoon drop little amount of batter to make vadas.
9. Now add these vadas to the whisked yogurt or you can take vadas directly on plate and pour yogurt over vadas.
Here you can garnish it with green coriander leaves, pomegranate , Chaat masala or with your favorite toppings.
