There are so many breakfasts which are healthy as well as yummy. Vegetable Daliya is also one of them a very easy, quick and healthy recipe.
Daliya or broken wheat is made by milling whole raw wheat. Mostly there are three sizes large sized, medium sized and fine sized.
Daliya or broken wheat is full of nutrition and contains vitamin , minerals, iron etc.
So a bowl full of vegetable daliya is a complete breakfast to full fill your body with require nutrients.
So today we will make vegetable Daliya. A easy quick , healthy recipe.
Daliya wasn't so favorite of mine but since I made vegetable daliya it's one of my favorite Breakfasts.

 4 1 cup250 ml.

   
INGREDIENTS:-

  • Daliya 1 cup
  • Water 3 cup
  • Ghee 3 tsp
  • Jeera 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Heeng pinch
  • Green chili - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Carrot - 1
  • Green peas - 1/2 cup
  • Green coriander leaves hand full
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 3/4 tsp.

DIRECTIONS:-

1. Heat a tsp. Desi ghee in a pressure cooker and add 1 cup daliya or broken wheat in it.
                     
           
2. Roast daliya for 2 min. and stir continuously.
                     
3. Now add 3 cups of water in it.
                       
         
4. Turn off the gas after one whistle and let cooker release pressure naturally.
                     
5. Now heat 3 tsp Desi ghee in a pan.
6. Add cumin seeds , mustard seeds and heeng in it.
7. Now add ginger , onion and green chili.
8. Add all vegetables in it.
                     
8. Cook it for 1 min.
9. Add all spices in it and cook it in medium flame.
                         
10. Cook it for 5-6 min.
11. Add cooked daliya in it and mix well, cook for 1 more minute in low flame.
                       
12. Vegetable Daliya is ready turn off the flame and garnish it with fresh coriander and spring onion.
