Have you got bored eating repeated vrat recipes if yes then I have something new and delicious for you and after trying it I think you would like to repeat it.

Actually I have got bored eating sama khichdi again and again so thought why not to try something new with sama rice or moraiya. So tried these yummy crispy tikkis and it turned out fabulous.

These pan fried crispy tikkis can be prepared with very less oil.

INGREDIENTS:- 

sama  or moriya - 1/2 cup

Boiled and mashed potatoes - 3 

Curry leaves - 6-7

Green chillies- 3-4

Rock salt if you are making for vrat

Black pepper powder 3/4 tsp

Peanut - 1/2 cup

Oil to pan fry tikkis

DIRECTIONS:- 

1. Pressure cook the sama rice by add double water.

2. Cook it for 2 whistle and let pressure release naturally

2. Meanwhile chop green chilies and grind peanuts coarsely.

3. When sama rice are cooked rest for some time to get it cool.

4. When sama is cool mix it with mashed potatoes.

5. Now we add other ingredients one by one.

6. Add green chilies, curry leaves , coriander leaves, grinded peanuts, rock salt and black pepper powder.

7. Mix all these well.

8. Now prepare tikkis with this mixture.

9. Heat less oil in a pan and fry tikkis.

10. Cook both sides well till it turns to golden brown color

11. Tikkis are ready enjoy it with chutney or curd.
