INGREDIENTS:-


  • 1 cup soaked moong(here you can use split moong Dal also for yellow colored dhoklas here I have used whole moong )
  • Besan or gram flour 1/4 cup
  • Curd 1tbs
  • Sugar 1.5 tsp
  • salt as required
  • Fruit salt 1 tsp

For tempering 


  • Oil
  • mustard seeds
  • green chili 
  • salt
  • sugar
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves 

DIRECTIONS:-

  • Soak moong overnight now grind it to a paste.
  • Add besan in it.
  • Add curd in it and whisk it properly to avoid lumps.
  • Now add sugar and salt in it and mix well.
  • grease steamer plates with oil.
  • Add ENO in mixture add little water and Add 2-3 tsp. water in it and mix it well.
  • pour batter in the steamer plates and place in steamer.
  • cook it in steamer for 12 min.
  • tempering:-

    • take oil in a pan add mustard seeds, curry leaves, hing in it.
    • mix well.
    • now add water, salt and sugar in it you can add lemon juice if you like.
    • now temper dhoklas with it and serve with chutney.
