Parathas are most popular breakfast in Indian food. There are so many types of parathas like aloo paratha, gobhi paratha, mooli or raddish paratha, lauki paratha, methi paratha, gajar paratha etc....
No doubt Aloo paratha is King  of all parathas and  no paratha can replace it but there are so many  yummy and tasty parathas which can be prepared in winter's with fresh seasonal veggies like gazar or carrot , green peas or matar, mooli, gobhi and methi so they are so many in number
Here I am sharing with winter special methi paratha which is healthy as well easy to make recipe.
Let's make this yummy, healthy and easy methi paratha.

INGRIDIENTS:- 

  • Whole wheat flour - 1.5 cup
  • Chopped fenugreek leaves or methi - 1 cup
  • Chopped onion - 1 medium sized
  • Chopped green chilli - 2
  • Crushed ginger or paste - 1 tsp
  • Crushed garlic cloves - 5-6
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp.
  • Fennel seeds or sonf - 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds or ajwayan - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt as required
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp.
  • Oil 1 tbs.
  • Water to knead
  • Oil or ghee to cook paratha

DIRECTION:-

  • First wash fenugreek leaves properly and chop it Finely or you can grind it.
  • Finely chop green chili and onion.
  • Now add chopped fenugreek leaves in bowl.
  • Add chopped green chili, onion, ginger paste, crushed garlic cloves in it.
  • Now we'll add masalas in it,add  cumin seeds, fennel seeds or sonf, ajwayan or carom seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt in it.
                 

  • Mix them well.
  • Now add wheat flour in it and again mix it well.
  • Add 1 tbs oil in it.
               

 
  • Now gradually add water to make dough.
               
  • Dough should be little hard so you can make balls and parathas easily.
  • Grease palms with oil and give a final touch to the dough

  • Now make balls with dough.
  • To make paratha flatten the ball with the help of rolling pin in round shape or in your favorite shape.
                   

  • Now place paratha on a heated tawa.
  • Cook for 1min. in medium flame and flip the  paratha.
  • Grease the upper side with oil or Desi ghee 
  • Now cook it for few seconds and flip it again and grease another side with oil or ghee.
                     

  • To cook upper side flip it one more time and cook paratha till golden brown color.
  • Parathas are ready.
 serve hot paratha with pickle, curd or sauce.
