Wish you all a very happy and joyous Diwali. Diwali is the festival of lights, crackers and specially we can call it festival of food. So here I'm sharing this diwali special crispy masala papdi snack recipe. It's my mom's recipe and we prepare it every diwali.

- Besan or gram flour- 250 gm
- Red chili powder - 2 tsp
- Salt as required
- Crushed Sonf or fennel- 1tsp
- Crushed Cumin seeds or jeera- 1tsp
- Chili flakes- 1/2 tsp
- Heeng- 1/4 tsp
- Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
- Crushed Cloves or loung- 6-7
- Water- to make tight dough
- Oil for fry
Direction:-
- Take besan or gram flour in a plate then add all spices in it like red chili powder or flakes, turmeric, salt, crushed fennel seeds, ajwayen, heeng, cloves, black pepper and crushed cumin seeds.
- Gradually add very little water and make tight dough.
- Now grease Palm with very little oil and make small sized balls.
- Now we will make papdi with these balls.
- Take oiled polythene or butter paper and dip ball in oil (so we can roll papdi easily) place this dough ball on butter paper and place another butter paper on dough ball and roll it in very thin papdi.
- Roll all papdis with rolling pin or belan.
- Now rest for 20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Fry papdis in medium flame till golden color.
