 Pakodi is the most popular snack of indian streets.Specially in monsoon we can eat pakodi everyday.
There are so many ways of making pakodi. But here I'm not with any pakodi recipe here i'm with this amazing recipe of pakodi ki sabji.
Yes you heard it right pakodi sabji.
If you are looking for something special and yummy recipe this monsoon it will sort you out.
It's a easy to make recipe and we can prepare it at home.
My mumma used to prepare it for guests and it is always finger licking recipe.
You can prepare it with any type of left over pakodi also.I have made bhajiyas to make this.
So here I am sharing this yummy recipe with you all.

INGRIDIENTS:- 

To make pakodi:-

  • Besan or gram flour - 1 cup
  • Salt as required
  • Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • Fenel seeds or sonf - 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwayan - 1/2 tsp
  • Water to make batter
  • Oil to deep fry
                               

To make sabji:-

  • Oil - 1 tbs 
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Heeng - 1 pinch
  • Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
  • Onion - 1 medium
  • Green chili - 1
  • Garlic - 5-6 clove
  • Ginger - 1/2 tsp grated
  • Tomato - 1
  • Salt as required
  • Red chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp

DIRECTIONS:-

To make pakodi:-

  • Take a bowl and add besan in it. 
  • Add all spices in it.
  • Now prepare dough for pakodi.
  • Keep the consistency same as we keep for pakodi it should not be flowing.
  • Now take a deep frying pan and add oil in it.
  • When oil is heated drop small portion of dough with fingers or teaspoon.
  • Cook friters till golden brown.
                               

To make sabji:-

  • Heat oil(1 tbs.) in a pan.
  • Now add cumin seeds and heeng in it.
  • Now add finely chopped onion and green chili or you add paste instead of chopped.
  • Now add crushed or grated ginger and garlic in it.
  • Stir well.
  • Cook till onion turns light brown.
  • Meanwhile cut all pakodis into two pieces .
  • Now add spices in pan add tomato, salt, turmeric , coriander powder, redchili powder and garam masala.
  • Add little bit of water approx 1 tbs. And cook in low flame till it separate oil.
  • Now we will add pakodis in it and stir well.
  • Add water in it. You can add water according to the consistency you want.
  • If you feel that pakodi and water is not mixed properly you can add handful corn flakes in it.
  • If you want consistency little bit thick, add less water.
  • Cook it 5 min. more after it starts boiling.
  • It will take approx 7-8minute.
Pakodi sabjI is ready garnish it with green coriander leaves. Serve hot with hot chapatis and raita.
