Chawli bhaji recipe | green chawli Bhaji | long beans bhaji | how to make chawli sabji

Green beans are great healthy source of vitamin A,C and K. It contains calcium and fiber. Good for your eyesight, heart, skin and nails etc.
So we can say green beans are full of nutrients. For all these healthy benefits and nutrients we need to include green beans in our diet.Most of us don't like green chawli bhaji so after this recipe you will start liking chawli Bhaji.
I also didn't like green beans bhajis but my mother started experimenting with these she added potatoes, tomatoes and some spices to make bhaji more delicious and that turned out amazing.
So here i am sharing the way my MAA makes chawli bhaji
                         

After knowing all these health benefits anybody would like to want a recipe which tastes amazing and contains all these health benefits.
So lets make this amazing healthy bhaji.

INGREDIENTS:-                           

  • Green chawli -250 gm
  • Green chili - 1 chopped
  • Potatoes - 2 medium chopped
  • Tomato - 1 chopped 
  • Garlic cloves - 4-5 crushed
  • Oil - 1 tbs.
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp.
  • Heeng - pinch
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp.
  • Salt as required
  • Red chili powder - 3/4 tsp.
  • Garam masala - 1/4 tsp.
  • Lemon juice - 2 tsp.
DIRECTIONS:-
  • First chopped off the top and bottom of greens beans and chop it into small pieces as shown in image.
  • Now chop potato, tomato and green chili separately
                     

  • Now heat oil in a heated pan.
  • Add cumin seeds in it.
                         

  • Add pinch of heeng and add green chili and crushed garlic in it
  • Now add chopped potatoes in it and now we'll add spices one by one in it.
                           


  • First add salt as required according to you taste now add turmeric powder, coriander powder and red chili powder.


  • Now cover it with a lid and keep flame to it's lowest and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Now add chopped tomato in it and cook for more 2 minutes.
                     

  • Now we'll add green chopped bhaji in it.
                             

  • Cook bhaji for 15- 20 minutes or it's up to you how much cooked bhaji you want. We should not cook green bhaji for a long time nutrients will be lost by over cooking.
  • Now add garam masala in it. Stir it and turn off flame.
                                   

  • Add lemon juice and garnish it with coriander leaves if you like.
Serve hot bhaji with hot chapatis and enjoy your healthy meal.
